How do you enable 'AlienFx events', I do not get that when I right click the AlienFx logo? have you tried my suggestion? The last alternate is fresh install windows (using the recvoery d First time I here they were denied of service due to their OS. So any idea, how I can get around this issue with the keyboard lights? Now is 5 days business hours only, and the guys are from the Chech Republic and not allways helpfull. They used to have Technical Support for Alienware 24h 7 days a week. Customer Servise has gone right down recently.
I am considering going the Legal way again and force them to fix it or pay up. The Windows 7 Pro I have installed is purchased from Dell, but basically they have shut me down with no help. support with the issue of this thread, but got turned down since the Laptop has no loger use the same Windows 8 it got shipped with. This one came with Windows 8 and I had a Dell rep help me install Windows 7 and all relevant drivers. With the money I bought new one, hoping the previous was just pot luck. Dell would not replace or refund so I had to get Legal help to force them to at least give me my money back. I had another one Alienware 17, that kept giving problems. My laptop is Alienware 17, boght it brand new from Dell, in March 2014.
